It’s now 2017 and sees the return of Super Quaich.
Super Quaich is a series of four races, consisting of an A race and B race. 100 riders will be in the A race. For the B race it shall be left to the race organiser to decide on what is a safe number of riders on the course.
For the new season, I will be joined by Clare Campbell. Clare took part in her first ever Cyclocross race at the beginning of January at Never Mind The PolloCX Hosted by Glasgow Riderz.
She dug in well and managed to finish the 45 mins of racing in 28th position in her age category.
On Sunday the 22nd of January she shall move up to an hours racing at Doonbank Trofee. This is the second race of Super Quaich hosted by Ayr Burners. This is her only race at Super Quaich but she is racing at Linlithgow at the end of January and also looking forward to the Scottish Cyclocross Season starting again.
For this year the team have got new kit. Lime green and yellow shall be our colours, keeping the lower half nice and simple in black.
Huge thanks to Advertising Direct for branding the kit and even getting branding for the team vehicle.
That’s about it for this news flash.
Look out for Clare and give her a shout of encouragement while she goes around.
Thanks again to all who take there time out to read the blog.
